DATA COLLECTION AND DATA AGGREGATION
As an ELEXON accredited Data Collector & Aggregator bglobal plc can remotely retrieve meter readings and perform Non-Half Hourly Data Collector and Aggregator services for any supplier in England, Wales and Scotland.
Traditionally meter readings are collected by meter readers visiting customer's sites however the quality and frequency of these meter readings invariably result in the customer receiving estimated energy bills from his supplier. The key benefit of bglobal's service is the ability to read a customers' smartMETER and collect half hourly energy consumption data directly from the meter "remotely" every month.
The solution is ideal for customers who have sites and/or meters which are located in remote and inaccessible places where manual meter readings may be missed or delayed. As the supplier's appointed Data Collecting Agent bglobal processes the remotely retrieved meter readings and sends the validated reads to the supplier to enable timely and accurate energy bills to be issued to the customer.
As Data Aggregator we process the readings and submit these to Settlements on behalf of the supplier.
The half hourly profile data is provided to the customer via either bglobal's' WebAnalyser or WebDataLink Service.
